This documentary series focused around informing the viewer on how the process of arranging marriages between individuals in India and the those of Indian descent in the United States. While receiving lukewarm reviews, it has nonetheless been renewed for anther season on Netflix.
Castlevania (Canceled)
Castlevania is coming to an end at Netflix. The anime series will conclude with the fourth season, which premieres in May 2021. But fans may not have to say goodbye to the video game-inspired world for good. According to Deadline, the streamer is considering a new series set in the same universe and centering on a new cast of characters.
Selling Sunset (Renewed)
Netflix has confirmed that its hit real estate reality show has been renewed for seasons three and four. All of the main cast members will be returning, including Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander and Davina Potratz. A premiere date for the two additional seasons have yet to be announced.
Bling Empire (Renewed)
Bling Empire will return for a second season, although a release date for season two has not yet been announced. Netflix officially confirmed the renewal in March 2021, approximately two months after the show first premiered.
On My Block (Final Season)
Netflix has renewed this coming-of-age comedy for a fourth and final season. The show centers on four friends who are navigating their way through the triumph and pain of high school located in an inner-city neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Ginny & Georgia (Renewed)
Netflix has renewed the popular mother-daughter dramedy, Ginny & Georgia, for a second season. The show has been a strong performer, with the streamer revealing that the first season was watched by 52 million subscribers in its first 28 days. Season two will consist of another 10 episodes.
GLOW (Canceled)
After previously renewing GLOW for a fourth and final season, Netflix has reversed course and pulled the plug on the female wrestling dramedy. The decision was reportedly made as the series faces continued production delays and financial concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The cancellation came as a surprise to both the show’s cast and fans, who have since started a petition urging the streamer to give the series a proper ending with a two-hour movie.
Floor Is Lava (Renewed)
Netflix’s reality competition series will return for a second season. Hosted by Rutledge Wood, Floor Is Lava follows contestants as they navigate booby-trapped rooms flooded with “lava” by leaping from chairs, swinging from chandeliers and using other objects.
Master Of None (Renewed)
After four years off the air, Master of None is returning to Netflix. According to Deadline, the streamer has renewed Aziz Ansari’s comedy for a third season, which will debut in May. Netflix quietly announced the upcoming launch in a tweet posted on April 21.
Ansari was the subject of a sexual assault allegation in 2018, during the show’s four-year absence. Per Variety, the new season will reportedly shift focus from Ansari’s protagonist, Dev Shah, to Lena Waithe’s supporting character, Denise.
