To follow Floyd Mayweather on Instagram is to glimpse the professional boxer’s super-opulent lifestyle. Mayweather, who can earn $275 million for a single night’s work, thinks nothing of splashing out millions of dollars on luxury purchases.
From private jets to designer shoes for his dog, here are some of the most outrageous things Mayweather has spent his money on.
He Owns Two Bugatti Veyrons
Bugattis are among the world’s most expensive cars, and Mayweather has at least two (one of which is shown at left below). In 2017, the boxer attempted to sell his 2011 Grand Sport and a 2015 Grand Sport Vitesse for several million dollars apiece. Even though each car only had about 1,000 miles on it, he wanted to upgrade to the latest model.
He Owns More Than 40 Designer Watches
If Floyd Mayweather wants to wear a different watch every day of the month, he can. As of January 2019, he owned 41 designer watches. He told TMZ Sports, “When I go on pay-cation for 30 days, I take 30 watches with me.”
He Owns A Watch That’s Worth $18 Million
Of the many watches Mayweather owns, one stands out among the rest: A Jacob & Co Billionaire diamond watch that’s reportedly worth $18 million. It’s said to contain more than 260 carats of diamonds.

He Spent $25K On A Bar Bill
While out partying in Las Vegas in 2014, Mayweather spent more than $25,000 on food and drinks. What made this news is that he reportedly didn’t leave a tip! Among the items on his bar bill were 20 bottles of champagne.
His Car Collection Is Worth $15 Million
In 2015, Mayweather revealed that his car collection is worth an estimated $15 million. And he doesn’t even drive them! A Las Vegas car dealer claims he’s sold at least 100 cars to Mayweather over the course of two decades, including 16 Rolls-Royces.
He Owns One Car That’s Worth $4.7 Million
Among his impressive car collection, there is one sports car that stands out and is super rare. Mayweather’s Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is one of two cars total that exist of that model, as of 2017. It’s worth an estimated $4.7 million.
He Keeps $123 Million In A Single Bank Account
Forget about diversifying your investments. Mayweather likes to keep his cash handy and, apparently, in a single bank account. Back in 2013, Mayweather showed a reporter a bank account receipt with a balance of $123 million.
He Has Two Private Jets
While it’s not uncommon for the ultra-rich to own a private jet, Mayweather owns not one but two. He’s dubbed them Mayweather 1 and Mayweather 2. And, in case you’re wondering why anyone would want or need two separate planes, Mayweather uses the second plane in order to transport his bodyguards — or, as he prefers to call them, security.
He Gave His Daughter A 30-Carat Diamond
Not only does Mayweather splurge on himself, but he also loves to spoil his kids as well, including his daughter, Iyanna. For her 18th birthday in 2018, Mayweather gifted her a 30-carat diamond ring with an 18-carat canary yellow center stone. For comparison, that’s twice as large as Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring from Kanye West.
He Buys Designer Shoes For Strangers
If you ever see Floyd Mayweather walk into a Louboutin store, you may want to make a beeline behind him. In 2015, he went on a shoe-buying spree in Atlanta and bought shoes not just for himself but for every woman who happened to be in the store while he was there. Louboutin shoes typically retail for $500 and up.
He Dropped More than $5 Million On Jewelry In One Day
In addition to expensive watches, Mayweather is also a fan of jewelry, especially chains and bracelets. In 2018, it was reported that he spent $5.3 million on jewelry during a single shopping trip in Los Angeles. He’s also not shy about posting photos of himself on Instagram decked out in fancy bling.
His Las Vegas Home Is Worth $10 Million
As you might expect, Mayweather’s Las Vegas home is opulent. The 21,861-square-foot home boasts 11 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms and a 20-car garage. He bought the home in 2018 for $10 million.
His L.A. Mansion Is Worth Over $25 Million
Mayweather’s Beverly Hills home isn’t too shabby, either. He purchased the mansion for $25.5 million in 2017. The home is said to have six bedrooms, nine baths, a huge home theater and a guest house.
He Bought A Mercedes For Each Of His Sons
Floyd Mayweather is not afraid to spend serious dough on his kids. When each of his two sons, Zion and Koraun, turned 16, Mayweather presented them with a brand-new Mercedes Benz car. That’s in addition to pretty over-the-top 16th birthday parties as well.
He’s Spent Million On Sport Bets
Mayweather is not just a professional athlete, he’s also a big sports fan and enjoys placing large bets in Las Vegas on his favorite teams. In 2012, Mayweather posted a ticket showing his successful $1.1 million bet that Oregon would beat Arizona State in a college football game.
He Only Wears Underwear Once
Who has time for laundry when you’re a jet-setting mogul? Apparently, Mayweather prefers to throw away once-worn underwear rather than wash them. He buys stacks of $18 Macy’s boxers and discards them at the end of each day when he undresses.
He Pays His Personal Barber $1,000 Per Haircut
Although Mayweather is known for sporting a mostly bald look, he certainly doesn’t ask for a discount when it comes to haircuts. Instead, he reportedly pays his personal barber $1,000 per haircut. He sometimes even gets two or even three haircuts a week.
He Spent $2,000 On Lottery Tickets
Even Floyd Mayweather can’t resist the allure of buying lottery tickets, especially when the jackpot hits the $1 billion mark. He spent $2,000 on Mega Millions lottery tickets at a Los Angeles area gas station during October 2018. The prize was the second largest in U.S. history at the time.
He Bought A $32 Million Ring For Himself
While almost any other person would consider $32 million a mind-boggling amount, Mayweather allegedly spent that much on a diamond ring. He purchased the one-of-a-kind ring in 2018 from a jeweler who also works with fellow celebs like Migos, Nas and DJ Khaled.

He Paid A Personal Chef $1,000 Per Plate
Mayweather’s one-time personal chef, Chef Q, made $1,000 per plate. In 2015, he hired her to help him prepare for the Manny Pacquiao fight.
“My daily schedule for Floyd is ‘There is no schedule’… I am here for him anytime, 24 hours, seven days a week. If he needs me at 3 a.m., I am there cooking up breakfast,” she told TMZ Sports.
He Bought Designer Shoes For His Dog (Maybe)
Mayweather loves to splurge on shoes for his family, and that includes his dog.
In a video posted on TMZ, the boxer points out that the dog has on more expensive shoes than he does. Calling them “red bottoms,” Mayweather implies (or jokes?) that he bought Christian Louboutin dog shoes, although it’s not clear if Louboutin even makes dog shoes.
What we do know: his dogs get their own seat when they travel on his plane.
He Had A $50K iPod Case
Back when iPods were still a must-have accessory, Mayweather spent $50,000 on a diamond-encrusted iPod case.
“Traveling with my 5OK diamond I-pod. Any artist in my i-pod is platinum anyway thanx to the case…Lol” he tweeted in 2010. As one writer pointed out, Mayweather’s iPod case was worth more than a normal person’s car.
He Received A Tiger As A Present
In most of the U.S., owning an exotic pet is prohibited. However, it’s not illegal in Russia, where Mayweather was supposedly given a tiger as a holiday present in 2015.
“Any suggestions for a name for this two-month old, female tiger?” he asked his Instagram fans.

He Sleeps With Cash In His Bed
Mayweather’s nickname is “Money,” so it’s no surprise that he likes to keep cash around him. He posted this photo of himself surrounded by neat stacks of $100 bills in bed with him in 2014. E! estimated that what’s shown in this photo would likely be worth over $100,000.

He Bought His Son A Bentley Golf Cart
When Mayweather’s son Koraun turned 15 in 2014, he wasn’t old enough for a car. So, Mayweather gave him the next best thing, a golf cart. However, in true Mayweather-style, it wasn’t a typical golf cart but a gold-colored Bentley golf cart.
